About Us
A.C.T., Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, founded in 2002. The agency, based in New York, provides trained adult mentors for justice-involved youth. In addition, we offer an array of other evidence based - best practice programs that support healthy development of children, adolescents and adults.
A.C.T. currently offers programs and services to youth and adults in Westchester, Rockland, Orange, New York City, and Long Island.
To date we have served over 5,600 children and teens and over 350 adults.
We currently have 110 dedicated volunteers, many of whom are educators, business owners, lawyers, medical professionals and governmental officials.
(All volunteers must undergo a background and complete the 24 A.C.T. volunteer training).
