WORDS FROM
OUR CLIENTS

When I came to A.C.T. four years ago, it was because I was being bullied in my first year of high school and I didn't have enough self-esteem to speak up for myself. After being paired with my mentor, Donna, I gained more courage, and self-esteem. Donna made me realize that I matter. Today, I am a college Freshmen and I am thriving. As we always say at our A.C.T. meetings,
I MATTER & MENTORS MATTER!

Denisha Campbell

I enrolled my sons (twins) in the one-on-one mentoring program because I am a single parent. My boys needed a good male role model. Thankfully, my boys  were paired with Rodney. Words can not begin to say how beneficial the mentorship has been on my sons. Rodney is supportive, firm, and caring. My children and I are very grateful to A.C.T.

Sophia Almonte

I learned about the workforce training programs from my kids, who are in the Girls Group Mentoring program. I was unemployed.  I enrolled and completed A.C.T.'s New York State Security Guard Training Job-Readiness Programs. In only a few short weeks I had my NYS Security Guard License and I was placed in a job with the largest Security Guard company in Westchester County.
